Sunday School
“Let the children come to me, so not to hinder them; for to such belongs the Kingdom of God. Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” Mark 10: 14-15
We offer Sunday school for children from nursery age through 12th grade. Sunday school meets from 10:45-11:45 am each Sunday morning.
The classes are led by several dedicated and committed teachers.
Some of the highlights of the Sunday school year are the Children’s Christmas program in December. The Easter Egg Hunt on Palm Sunday and the Children’s Day Service in May to close out the Sunday School year.
Sunday School is important for children for many reasons:
- Improves Bible knowledge through study of the Bible's teachings
- Aids the children in their spiritual growth
- Provides a safe place to belong
- Helps build meaningful relationships
- Gives children opportunities to serve
